LowBrow
LowBrow were a power-pop group from Quebec’s Eastern Townships made up of four high school friends, including Jeremy Labreque and Joseph Yarmush (currently in Kill the Lights). Their Our 17.78cm Record 7” (1998) was comprised of sharp, well-crafted songs, drawing influence from early 90s indie music such as Sloan, Rocket from the Crypt and Chixdiggit.
Over the course of their tenure as a young Montreal band, LowBrow were twice winners at the Sunnymead Festival, toured across Quebec, Ontario and the Maritimes, sharing stages with the likes of Thrush Hermit and Plumtree.
